On Tuesday, it was a pleasure to be part of the first Westminster Games Day, hosted by trade association UK Interactive Entertainment (UKIE). I chaired two seminars with industry leaders, MPs and Lords, and hosted a lunchtime video games showcase as part of the work of the All-Party Parliamentary...
This year, I liaised with local organisations, businesses, and the Courier to seek support in setting up a charitable resource, the 'Love Leamington Fund'. As promised, the rise in my salary has been dedicated to the fund and I am delighted that with generous donations from a variety of...
This month, the Leamington Business Forum celebrated its second anniversary. I would like to congratulate Jonathan Smith and his team on their hard work and for making the initiative such a success. The forum brings together local businesses to help forge relationships, strengthen the network of...
On Sunday, I took part in the Twilight Walk around Warwick to raise funds for the Brain Tumour Charity. Improving our research into brain tumours is vitally important to ensure that we diminish the impact of this tragic condition, while the charity also works with the families of those affected....

It is a great honour...
I have been serving Warwick and Leamington as a Member of Parliament since 2010, having previously worked locally in Public Relations and at Longbridge with MG Rover. I live in Warwick and play an active role in our community, whether it be through my role as a Governor of Myton School, volunteering with a number of local charities such as Nightlight and the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs, or meeting as many local businesses and organisations as possible.
In Westminster, I am a member of the Business, Innovation and Skills Select Committee having previously served on the International Development Select Committee. I also hold the role of Parliamentary Private Secretary to two Home Office Ministers. My Private Member's Bill, the Social Value Act, was passed in the last Parliament. For more information on the legislation, please see the Social Value section of this website. I also Co-Chair the Associate Parliamentary Manufacturing Group and Chair the All Party Group on Video Games, two vital sectors in our area.
